Footings are poured and the boys at Rock Concrete are inserting the dowels to tie into the foundation walls.
Here we have the footings being formed ready to get poured. Before this was done. we have our friends at the Land Survey Group drop pins in the ground to make sure we are building the house in the proper location.
Hole is dug. Shoring is up. We now has a nice flat base for the footings to be done. First, the soil engineer must come to approve we have sufficient bearing capacity for the home.
Voila! She’s gone… Ready to start excavating for footings.
Site protection fence is up around the property line, and the Excavator is ready to go!
You will only need to extend your tree protection up to paved areas. The Urban Forestry department has sent us a plan which we complete as drawn and send back for approval. They city of Toronto will not issue your permits until this is completed
Before anything else gets done city has to make sure we have protected all trees.
